Alternative Routes
A topographic travelogue following the alternative routes of Greek country roads of central and western mainland. An effort to trace down and give prominence to the isolated or abandoned areas, industrial landscapes, natural ecosystems and traditional people who maintain their coexistence in the age of urbanization. Alternative routes is a chance to appreciate our relationship with the environment and aesthetics of the Greek countryside, to acknowledge the opportunities of decentralization and the sustainability of our land.
